A couple of extra USB ports and an Ethernet port. It has one display port connection and one HDMI connection that I use for a second monitor. It's not a super special dock or anything. However, on 22.04, I can only get games to launch if I have my Kensington USB-C dock connected to it. ![]() They would run just fine, plugged in and charging, unplugged, low power mode, no matter what. It's a Lenovo Thinkpad P20, 32GB RAM, Nvidia Quadro T1000 discrete GPU with Intel UHD integrated. Back on 18.04, I had no issues running Proton games on laptop. Hey everyone! I'm running into a very strange issue on Ubuntu 22.04. running on a Ryzen 9 with lots of RAM, SSD, and graphics. Proton egg rolls for 2014 and Lutris default wine for Ubisoft Connect. Has anyone tried that with Rocksmith on Linux?īTW, I'm using Arch Linux and the Zen kernel. Oh, I also have a Positive Grid Spark amp that I believe can be used with ASIO. I'd like something with a guitar and microphone input. I'm also considering buying a dedicated ASIO sound device, as I'm beginning to record my own music. I'm a little curious about WineASIO and whether that works with the Realtone cable and improves quality at all. ![]() I haven't had this issue when running Rocksmith in Windows. Conversely, when using a clean tone, I notice that the volume is extremely low. However, I notice that when using a distortion, overdrive, or fuzz in either edition of Rocksmith, it feels like the gain is extremely high. Oh, my guitar also has pretty high output humbuckers. I've calibrated the volume in 2014 with the strum loudly business, and lowered the alsa volume mixer on the realtone input to about 30, until the strumming appears in the blue bar in the volume calibration UI. However, I noticed that the volume of the guitar varies a fair bit compared with Windows. #DYING LIGHT TRAINER 1.12..0 WINDOWS#I'm using a realtone cable and basic motherboard audio, and I have the latency down to comparable with Windows via using ALSA. I've been using Linux for over 25 years, but only recently thought I'd give it another try for Rocksmith. I've recently gotten Rocksmith (2014 and Plus) working on Linux.
